What can you expect from inshore fishing Charleston in the spring?

Late winter/ spring fishing is an excellent time of the year to fish inshore in Charleston. As the Redfish school up in large numbers, the trout bite continues to be strong until they spawn in the spring. We typically use live shrimp this time of the year when is available. Sudden changes in the weather effects the shrimps migration pattern and makes it challenging to find them until the weather becomes consistent.

A half day trip is plenty of time to get in on the action. When the redfish are schooled up this time of the year, we are able to stay in one spot for longer than we normally can giving our anglers more time to fish. Rather than riding around spot to spot when the bites a little more tough.

Mention this fishing report for 10% off any charter booked between 1/11/23 to 5/1/2023.
