Started off the morning catching shrimp and menhaden for our corporate fishing charter. A utility company out of Columbia, SC hired us to treat their employees to a 4 hour fishing trip. The shrimp have been very scarce but was still able to load up the livewell after about an hour of throwing the cast net. The guys wanted to do a combo of creek fishing and finish the last hour of the trip fishing the harbor for bigger redfish.

We started out on an incoming tide which was right on the money. We quickly hooked up on a stud 30″ redfish that we had ti fight out of the pilings of a dock but was still able to land it. We landed about 25-30 Redfish, Trout and Black Drum in the creeks so we decided to head out to the deep water to try our luck on a big redfish or a shark! We quickly caught a few sharks and then the redfish showed up! Landed 5 big reds and then headed for the hill!

Now is a great time to book a fishing charter! Charleston is finally starting to open back up from the Covid-19 pandemic. Hotels are taking reservations, restaurants are allowing inside and outside seating and the fish are biting! Give us a call and lets get you out there!
