Started out the morning before my first charter looking for bait for a double of charters. I quickly found some birds diving in about 4 feet of water. I threw the net a few times and loaded up the live well.

Picked up my first charter and it was a gentleman that only wanted to learn how to catch fish back in the creeks and rivers. I fished some spots that have been productive the last week to ensure what I was teaching him could be put into action by actually catching fish. We caught a dozen or so redfish that measured out to be about 25-30 inches which made for a fun trip. Went back to the dock and got ready for round 2!

My second charter was just a 3 hour shark fishing charter and with the action we have had so far this year I knew it wouldn’t be a problem. The first spot we fished produced a medium sized stingray in the first 10 minutes and broke the ice for us. Within 5 minutes of catching the stingray the center rod drag screamed and we had a nice bull red drum on! After a few minutes we landed the redfish and it measured 37” and 23 pounds. Definitely a daymaker, we finished the trip with a few more spots that produced a few stud hammerheads, blacktips and Atlanta sharpnose sharks.

Now is a great time to get in on the action! Book your fishing charter online or by phone and mention this post to get a 10% the final charter cost.
